Electric atmosphere as Dortmund Legends trounce Vietnam All Stars in friendly

The match aims to raise funds in support of orphans and children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The match is part of Borussia Dortmund’s three-day trip to Vietnam from September 27 to September 29 as they promote the True Love – To The Future campaign. Despite rainy conditions, thousands of supporters converge on the stadium to support the two teams. A performance by singer My Tam’s helps create a festive atmosphere before the game begins. The Dortmund Legends easily show their dominance in the opening minutes of the match. The German players build a 2-0 lead after just 12 minutes. 2020 K-Pop Super Concert to wow Hanoi audiences next January

The event is co-organised by Voice of Vietnam – VOV, the RoK’s Sublime Entertainment Concert Company, and Vietnam ’s To&Ro Media Co. Ltd. The musical party will bring together a number of popular bands from the RoK, including EXO-SC, NCT 127, ELRIS, ACE, and Alphabat. Young and talented Vietnamese singers will also be on the line up to entertain Hanoi audiences. According to VOV Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien, the concert aims to provide a venue for K-Pop enthusiasts to enjoy performances of their favourite singers while contributing to boosting co-operation between Vietnam and the RoK through music. Hue exhibition marks Party’s 90th founding anniversary

Exhibition showcases fine art works by typical Asian artists

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong affirmed that in recent years, Vietnamese artists regularly participate in the art exchanges in the region and the world, bringing positive effects, promoting exchanges, stimulating creativity and connecting Vietnamese art with the world. Art programme to welcome Lunar New Year’s Eve

Culture week introduces Vietnam’s land and people to Myanmar

The event was part of a series of Vietnamese events in Myanmar this year to realise the bilateral comprehensive cooperative partnership and culture cooperation agreement for the 2017 – 2020 period signed by the two countries’ leaders. Within the framework of the week, a ceremony marking the 74th anniversary of Vietnam ’s National Day and two years of the upgrade of the Vietnam – Myanmar ties to the comprehensive cooperative partnership level was also held. Winners of 2019 Youth Photography Festival honoured

The biennial festival is hosted by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for Vietnamese photographers who are aged between 18 and 35 years old, living both in and outside the country. It aims to encourage the creativity of young Vietnamese photographers nationwide while providing them with an opportunity to show their talent and gain experience from each other. Launched in March under the theme of ‘ Vietnam Today’, this year’s event received nearly 2,070 entries by 298 photographers in two categories, reality and experiment. The organising board selected 197 outstanding entries to display at the exhibition, with 21 of them being awarded, including two gold, four silver and six bronze medals along with nine consolation prizes. Performance of Israel & Vietnam Folk Harmony to be held in Hanoi

From the first community music project From an aspiring and romantic idea, Diversity Choir was formed in November 2019 under the initiative of the Institute of Social, Economic and Environmental Research (iSEE). This was the first community music project in Vietnam. Only a short time after the announcement, over 200 people registered for audition. They were needy people in the society, including teenagers, youths, the elderly, people with disabilities, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) people, and domestic violence victims. The choir’s director and conductor, Nguyen Hai Yen, who is also Deputy Director of Sol Art Centre, has selected 70 members, aged from 7 to 74. All of them have not previously sung in any choirs. Nguyen Tran Khanh Van crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2019

Born in 1995, this beauty comes from Ho Chi Minh City. She overcame 44 other contestants across the country to secure the crown. With measurements of 83-60-90, she stands at 175 centimetres tall. This is the fourth edition of Miss Universe Vietnam since the first time held in 2008. The semi-final and final rounds of the contest have all been held in Nha Trang, the capital city of Khanh Hoa province. In the 2019 edition, the crown for the winner was entitled Brave Heart. Weaving village in the city

There are now very few families pursuing the trade, but they still try to continue preserving the brand of the traditional trade village. A golden age Few families in Bay Hien weaving village use looms. Nguyen Thi Hue, 80, is the oldest artisan and is one of very few artisans following the ups and downs of the village.
