Karachi, Pakistan: 70+ Factory Workers Robbed

Representative image According to ARY News, over 70 factory workers were looted in the Shah Faisal town of Karachi as the law and order situation in Pakistan continues to deteriorate. The dacoits, who were motorcycle riders, stopped a bus carrying the workers of a leather factory and escaped after looting them. The dacoits stole the mobile phones of all the workers, and the incident has been reported to the police. This is not the first incident of its kind in the city, as on September 7, a father-son duo was killed by armed robbers in Karachi’s Korangi district for resisting a heist. CCTV footage captured the horrifying incident, showing three robbers entering a bookstore and opening fire on the owners when they resisted. “Ao Dai Heritage” project promotes Vietnam-Italy cultural exchange

Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Antonio Alessandro stated that the Italian Embassy in Vietnam strives to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries, especially in the fashion industry which is considered a strength of Italy. “Áo dài Heritage-the culture of Tình thương” is a special project which fosters cultural exchanges and at the same time introduces Ao Dai – the traditional Vietnamese dress – to the world, as well as forging cooperation opportunities in the fashion industry, said the diplomat. An Ao Dai collection featuring a total of 60 outfits created by Vietnamese designer Quang Hoa and Italian designer Maria Elena Di Terlizzi will be made under the project.  The schedule will see two Ao Dai fashion shows take place every year during the five-year period. Vietnamese film to compete at Tallinn Black Nights

The film is set to compete in the Grand Prix for the Best Film Awards which has a total grant of EUR20,000. The festival is scheduled to be held in Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, from November 11 to November 27. The Official Selection – Competition is an international non-specialised competition which presents feature-length films of 60 minutes and over from around the world which were produced after September 15, 2021. Held in 1997, the PÖFF has since grown into one of the largest film festivals in Northern Europe and busiest regional industry platforms, hosting more than 1,000 international guests, screening around 250 feature films, as well as more than 300 shorts and animations. A startup for kids’ feelings in Vietnam

Anh, who graduated from Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, had a very good job. But she then realized that she did not really feel happy. Psychological scars from childhood were still on her mind.  When she was an elementary school student, her parents sometimes forgot to take her home from school. As mobile phones were not as popular as now, Anh could not contact her parents. Her teacher or her relatives took her home instead.  “My family sometimes reminds me of the story like it’s normal,” she shared.  She took part in a course on inner intelligence by chance and realized her issues. When practicing listening to her own feelings during the course, she remembered the bad memory and found her psychological scars.
