Drowning has been one of the most significant causes of death for children aged 5-14 in Vietnam in recent years. On average, there are more than 3,500 drowning deaths each year, with close to 2,000 of these being children. Tam Thanh mural village is located in Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province . The village has one side bordering the sea and the other side bordering the Truong Giang River, about 7km from the center of Tam Ky city. This is the first mural village in Vietnam under the cooperation of Vietnamese and Korean artists and volunteers, which was established in 2016.
