Soprano from Hanoi Unveils Multilingual New Tune

Singer Do To Hoa and rapper Ha Le have released their new single, “Shi Ni” (It’s You), in Chinese, Vietnamese, and English. The Chinese lyrics were written by Meng Ran, the Vietnamese lyrics by Pham Lich, and the English lyrics by Ha Le. “Shi Ni” was initially released in China in 2022 and quickly gained popularity, leading to various remixes in different languages. Vietnamese singer Pham Lich also covered the song and released the Vietnamese version five months ago, with over 28 million views on Pham Lich’s YouTube channel. The singer Do To Hoa and the rapper Ha Le are working on a new music project. Hoa, who won the chamber music category of the Sao Mai 2017 singing contest, obtained a master’s degree in vocal performance in China. After returning to Vietnam, she continues to showcase her talent in chamber music while exploring new styles. Hoa is keen on incorporating her Chinese heritage into her musical endeavors. Vietnam-Japan Diplomacy Marked with Magnificent LED Light Show Celebrating 50 Years

The light display at Bien Dong Park in Da Nang, Vietnam, features three scenes inspired by the iconic flowers of both Vietnam and Japan – lotus and sakura (cherry blossom), respectively. The display consists of 500,000 LED lights, symbolizing the 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Ngo Thi Kim Yen, deputy head of the Da Nang municipal administration, expressed that this light display, coinciding with the Vietnam-Japan festival opening on July 13, symbolizes a bright future for both countries and offers a unique experience for both locals and tourists. The event is a collaboration between the administration of Da Nang, the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, and the Japanese Business Association’s branch in Da Nang. The special LED light display aims to provide an evening entertainment option in central Vietnam’s largest tourism hub. Two Vietnamese representatives to attend Cannes festival's film market

Vo Thi Phuong Linh of QDICOM Agency and Nguyen Tuan Linh of CJ HK Entertainment Co. Ltd have duly been selected to join the event. QDICOM Agency have carried out a series of social media campaigns for several films, including “Ròm” which is a 2019 Vietnamese film on the topic of crime and violence and “Tiệc trăng máu” (Blood Moon Party) which was the first Vietnamese movie to gross VND155 billion in just four weeks after its release in 2020. CJ HK Entertainment Co. Ltd is the publisher of “Nhà bà nữ” (The House of No Man) which grossed VND421.2 billion after 23 days in cinemas this year, thereby becoming the highest-grossing Vietnamese film of all time. Ha Nam hosts Japan traditional art exchange

Japanese artists introduced Kyogen, the first comedic art form in Japan with a history of 650 years to Vietnamese audiences. The UNESCO-recognised World Cultural Heritage mainly describes the daily life of ordinary people in the middle age. The event is also part of the Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week held from May 14 to May 20 which will see a wide range of activities, including art performances, a firework show, afirst hot air-balloon festival, and a trade fair displaying. In 2022, the Ha Nam People’s Committee and the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam successfully organised and an exchange programme on Kyogen and Cheo singing traditional art.
