South Korean National Broadcaster Funds Vietnams First-Ever Film Production

‘Chiem Doat’ is a gripping psychological thriller film that features an outstanding cast including Miu Le, Phuong Anh Dao, Lanh Thanh, Karik, Phuong Thanh, Luong Thuy Linh, and Trong Hai. Directed by Thang Vu and co-written by Tran Khanh Hoang, Choi Hyo Bi, and Kim Sang Woo, this film promises to captivate audiences.

The story revolves around a babysitter named My who starts working for a wealthy young family. As the movie progresses, the audience is taken on a thrilling journey where the deep, dark secrets of the family members are revealed. Amidst this, trust begins to form and bonds are created with My.

This film holds great significance as a groundbreaking Vietnamese production backed by KBS’ subsidiary, KBS Media, through their Vietnamese production unit, ERS Factory Company Limited. This collaboration represents a major step forward in the cooperation between the Vietnamese and South Korean cinema industries.

Notably, KBS Media has previously provided funding for ‘An Di Roi Ke,’ also known as ‘Delicious Drama Tour’ in English. This reality TV show promotes Vietnamese-South Korean culture and cuisine by featuring talented artists from both nations.

Unique plants on display at Hanoi Ornamental Creatures Festival 2022

The event features a wider range of unique ornamental trees and bonsai worth several hundreds to billions of VND. This piece named “Hoang Long Vu De” is valued at VND3 billion, equivalent to US$126,370. Another piece, named “Vu Hoi Long Hoa”, is offered at a price in the tens of billions of VND. The age-old tree often has a massive, mossy trunk. A gardener brings his ornamental tree to the festival, offering it at VND3.5 billion, equal to US$147,431. Vietnam-Japan Diplomacy Marked with Magnificent LED Light Show Celebrating 50 Years

The light display at Bien Dong Park in Da Nang, Vietnam, features three scenes inspired by the iconic flowers of both Vietnam and Japan – lotus and sakura (cherry blossom), respectively. The display consists of 500,000 LED lights, symbolizing the 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Ngo Thi Kim Yen, deputy head of the Da Nang municipal administration, expressed that this light display, coinciding with the Vietnam-Japan festival opening on July 13, symbolizes a bright future for both countries and offers a unique experience for both locals and tourists.
